001. WIRED UK’s The World Cup Predicted

Everyone is going crazy with all the futbòl action on the pitch in South Africa and The Section Design has a brief post featuring an infographic that predicts the winner—which was generated using a mathematical formula based on the GDP of each participating country. Could it really be Brazil?  Goooooaaaal!

002. Alphabet City ‘Out on The Streets’

This unique alphabet board book by street artist Michael De Feo features a unique, creative, and artistic perspective of the world—and how to present learning to children in very cool fashion (and Digital Dads loves every bit of it).

003. Edition 29 Issue 001 ARCHITECTURE

29GPS’s Edition 29 is pushing the publishing front on the iPad with their next-level photo essay magazines. The audio, visual, and interactive nature of each issue is going to set this series apart from other magazine attempts on the platform to be sure. Truly a glimpse into what can be in terms of near future magazine publishing.

001. Wisdom Book

Andrew Zuckerman’s Wisdom: The Greatest Gift One Generation Can Give to Another, collects thoughts and perspective from Nelson Mandela, Clint Eastwood, Buzz Aldrin, Desmond Tutu, The Dalai Lama and more.  It is a fantastic book that reveals much about those providing the narrative.  Visit the website for photographs and films related to the project.

002. Teux Deux

Digital Dads are transparent in their enthusiasm about all things design related and we are pretty excited about Swiss Miss‘ design project collaboration. Teux Deux is a simple, design-y,  free, browser based to-do application that is both functional and appeals to our passion for good design.

Pictory is a collection of photo based essays, beautifully collected and presented.  Each showcase tells a different tale and it is difficult not to go back numerous times to experience each.

004. Netflix Origami

We all need a creative distraction from the productivity that is a common thread throughout most of our lives—Netflix Origami can help you satisfy those urges (and answers the question so what DO I do with those tear off slips from the Netflix envelopes???)
