C.C.,

Found your blog over at Chris Brogan's blog where he was talking about this project. Can't wait to see what you come up with, especially after watching that video intro.

The blog looks sweet -- I have been reading it all morning instead of working. The boss is not too happy, but what are you going to do.

Looking forward to being part of the community.

Lates yo!

Glad you guys are excited about the program.

I'm having fun already with the whole family trying things out. The Vaio laptop they gave us has turned into our "living room laptop" meaning that it sits on the coffee table and get randomly used by us when we are sitting and watching TV. So far my wife has used it more then any of us.

We'll definitely be keeping up with this one - looking forward to hearing all about the new Sony gear!

Hopefully, you'll consider the SAF (Spousal Acceptance Factor) in your reviews. I like big screens and speakers a bit more than my wife does.

Nice move on Sony's part to realize that dads play a role in big ticket purchases. I think it's great that there's a real interest in engaging more dads to help spread the word, good or bad, about products that so many of us are interested in buying. I'd rather get feedback from you guys than some over-the-top, uber-nerdy forum where they nit pick everything to death.

Oh, new reader of the site...just grabbed your feed so I don't miss out. I'm looking into a new HD camcorder so I'm interested in how all of this develops.

I think that is very cool that Sony is recognising the role of Digidads. Fathers are often overlooked in terms of the role they play in the lives of their children. We are hands-on and we made decisions on how certain things affect our children and enable us to interact with our children. I have a video camera that was dormant until my son was born (2 years ago). Now I have hours of video that I need to sort / compile. I bought a tripod because my arm would get tired in certain instances. I am also starting to record myself and my thoughts for him. We engage with technology as fathers in so many different ways, beyond merely just loving gadgets. Hopefully, brands beyond your space will start recognising this. Looking forward to hearing about the Sony stuff.

I have a video camera that was dormant until my son was born (2 years ago). Now I have hours of video that I need to sort / compile. I bought a tripod because my arm would get tired in certain instances. I am also starting to record myself and my thoughts for him.
